 What to expect at your first reflexology treatment.

Some clients can be a little apprehensive at their first treatment. Below is some information on what takes place during a typical treatment session.

In a typical assessment and initial treatment I will take approximately 15-30 minutes talking with you about your past and current health and discuss what is it you would like to get out of the treatments. I like to offer plenty of time for this part of the treatment as it gives us an opportunity to get to know each other and you, the client to talk about yourself in as much depth as you wish to. Once you are comfortable sitting in the chair, I will start the treatment with breathing and relaxation techniques before moving into the main reflexology treatment. At the end there will be a further relaxation before the treatment finishes. I often play relaxing music or use a diffuser with pre-blended essential oils for my patients. The overall aim is to offer you a deep sense of relaxation and I hope this is what you take away with you from each treatment.
